Breakdown

  • Easy baseline out of bounds play that works at any age.
  • Start in a line set above the free throw line.
  • 2 and 5 cross cut to opposite corners.
  • 3 and 4 cut across inside the lane to opposite sides of the hoop.

Coaching Tip

Cuts from 3 and 4 should be made as close together as possible to force defenders to collide or switch, leaving an open scoring option.
