A fun, high-energy passing drill that blends creativity with control. Players practice behind-the-back, wrap, and around-the-world passes while staying balanced and accurate.
Pair players up about 8ā10 feet apart with one ball. Partners pass back and forth using creative, skill-building variations such as behind-the-back, wraparound, one-hand push passes, or around-the-world patterns. Each pass should still be accurate and controlled, even when the movement looks flashy.
Encourage players to stay balanced, keep their eyes up, and focus on clean catches before adding speed. As they get more comfortable, increase tempo or add movement. These creative passing reps carry into small sided games likeĀ 2-on-2 Keep Away, where players must find windows and move the ball quickly under pressure. You can also transition the passing into advantage situations similar toĀ 2-on-1 Keep AwayĀ or flow into competitive actions found inĀ 3-on-3 Cutthroat.
Run quick roundsā20 to 30 secondsāthen switch variations or have partners choose their own. Keep the energy high and the creativity flowing.
