Corner 3 is a baseline out of bounds play designed to free the inbounder for a quick corner three-point shot.

Breakdown

1 inbounds to 5, who immediately swings the ball to 3.
After passing, 5 sets a baseline screen on 1’s defender.
1 pops out to the corner and receives the return pass for an open 3-point shot.

Coaching Tip

The timing of 5’s baseline screen is crucial—set it tight so 1 comes free for a clean catch-and-shoot look.
