Breakdown
- 1 enters the ball to 2.
- 2 dribbles back to the top of the key.
- As 2 dribbles right, 5 sets a backside screen for 3.
- 3 cuts hard to the hoop.
- 2 hits 3 in motion for the layup.
Coaching Tip
2 should lead 3 with the pass — this is a timing play. A well-timed pass makes the layup nearly automatic.
