Breakdown
- 1 dribbles to the left wing as 2 clears out to vacate the area.
- 4 and 5 set a staggered double screen along the lane.
- 3 uses the stagger screen to cut hard through the lane.
- 1 looks to hit 3 for the layup.
- Play can also be reversed to the opposite side.
Coaching Tip
3 should jab to the right before cutting to draw their defender into the screen. This makes the stagger much more effective and creates an easier scoring lane.
