Breakdown
- Start in a box set on the baseline.
- 5 and 2 set cross screens for 3 and 4 to pop out as passing options.
- After screening, 2 immediately rolls — either to the basket for a quick layup or out to the deep corner for a three.
- 1 makes the read: hit 2 if open, or look to 3/4 for perimeter entry into the offense.
Coaching Tip
Emphasize the timing of 2’s roll. If they cut hard, it forces the defense to help, freeing up shooters outside.
