A fun Mini Hoopers drill where players stomp onto poly spots and finish around the rim, building balance, coordination, and early footwork confidence.
Scatter poly spots around the lane. Players start outside the three point line with a ball, dribble into the paint, stomp onto an open spot with a strong two foot jump stop, and finish with a close shot or simple layup. After finishing, they rebound, get back outside the arc, and attack a new spot right away.
Keep the rhythm fast and playful. The movement pattern is simple and reactive, similar to the color recognition work in Color Call Shooting. If you want to encourage softer touch, connect it to the arc control taught in Rainbow Shots. For short energetic cycles, you can guide the pace much like the repeated finishing rhythm in Lightning Ladders.
Monster Stomp Shooting builds balance, body control, and finishing confidence in a simple format perfect for Mini Hoopers. The stomp teaches stability, the short finishes create consistent success, and the constant movement keeps the drill energetic. These early footwork and finishing habits set a foundation players will use as they grow into more advanced skills.
